Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean and operating correctly.
• Coordinate activities of the housekeeping team, including assigning tasks and checking rooms.
• Maintain logs, checklists, and inventories as scheduled.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries immediately.
• Report any discrepancies to the Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager.
• Assist with cleaning vacant dirty rooms and returning occupied dirty rooms to a clean status.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards.

Requirements

• Experience in lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities is helpful but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform basic math and follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens and sanitation of supplies.
• Skills in organizing and maintaining logs and inventories.

• Ability to communicate in another language may be helpful.
• Experience in supervising staff techniques.
