About the position
Acuren Inspection is seeking Rope Access Technicians to support operations, focusing on safety management for crews engaged in rope access activities. The role involves organizing work functions specific to rope access jobs and supervising crews performing various technical and industrial services at heights, ensuring compliance with IRATA standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
- Be conversant with relevant work techniques
- Demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a level 1 Rope Access Technician
- Assist other technicians as required
- Ensure operational safety of all equipment
Requirements
- IRATA or SPRAT Level I Certification required
- Proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue/hauling
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Required certification levels for specific projects
- Must have industrial refinery experience
- Must have mechanical industrial experience
