About the position

The Cheese Milk Fortifier Starter Blender at Leprino Foods is responsible for blending starter materials and ensuring the proper transfer of milk to silos. This role requires effective communication with various departments, adherence to safety and sanitation protocols, and the ability to perform basic mathematical functions. The position is integral to the production operations within a fast-paced environment, contributing to the company's mission of delivering high-quality dairy products.

Responsibilities

• Perform all required blending of starter blending type materials.
• Make appropriate hookups for tanks, blending equipment, and inject lines to transfer product as per Daily Operating Plan.
• Safely and properly use an electric pallet jack to transfer materials from docked trailer to powder blending area.
• Follow safety trailer procedures.
• Properly clean and sanitize all equipment as required by company procedures, maintain housekeeping in area.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Forepersons and Supervisors.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Ability to perform essential job functions safely.
• Demonstrated ability to complete work assignments with a high degree of accuracy.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to read, write, and speak the English language.
• Able to read, write, and perform intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to maintain accurate records.
• Good time management skills.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Able to interpret data and make necessary decisions.

• Ability to work in an environment that is higher in ambient temperature and humidity.
