About the position

The Finance Rotational Development Program is a structured three-year training initiative designed for recent college graduates who are eager to launch their careers in finance. This program consists of 12-month rotations across various critical areas within the finance department, including Business Support, Functional Support, and Corporate Finance. Participants will gain hands-on experience in diverse functions such as Workforce Solutions, USIS, International Finance, Technology, Operations, External Reporting, Finance Business Intelligence, and Accounting. The program aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the finance landscape, enabling participants to develop a well-rounded skill set that is essential for future leadership roles in the industry. Throughout the program, participants will engage in cross-training activities that will enhance their knowledge and skills in financial analysis, strategic initiatives, and business decision-making. They will be involved in special projects assigned by finance leadership, allowing them to contribute to the organization while gaining valuable insights into the workings of finance. Additionally, participants will assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, which are crucial for effective financial management. The program also includes responsibilities related to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring that participants are well-versed in the financial reporting cycle. To support their growth, participants will complete a formalized training curriculum and engage in personal development activities throughout their rotations. This program is not only an opportunity to gain practical experience but also a chance to build a professional network within the finance community at Equifax.

Responsibilities

  • Cross-train in various areas within the Finance organization and related functions.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
  • Work on special projects as assigned by finance leadership.
  • Participate in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Complete formalized training curriculum and personal development throughout the rotation program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Mathematics.
  • Completion of coursework by May 2025.
  • Analytical, modeling, data visualization, and statistical skills.
  • Detail-oriented and timeline driven with an emphasis on accuracy and results.
  • Proven creativity, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Leadership, teamwork, and service skills.
  • Experience in Google Suite and Excel.
  • Geographic flexibility based on assignment availability (Atlanta, GA and St. Louis, MO).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Tableau, Hyperion, Oracle, database, and Business Intelligence systems.
