Responsibilities
- Proper care and maintenance of the vehicle while adhering to safety rules.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any safety or repair issues immediately.
- Maintain proper levels of oil, lubrication, water, coolants, and cleanliness of cab and box.
- Distribute all products to customers as directed by Challenge Dairy Products, Inc.
- Maintain proper inventory levels to ensure service of customers.
- Responsible for the security and accountability of all products assigned.
- Wear clean uniform every day, including a belt.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- Learn quickly about product features and benefits.
- Use equipment such as handheld computers, pallet jacks, and dollies.
- Collect payments from customers and report any financial issues to the Branch Manager.
- Recognize opportunities for account penetration and new accounts.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and necessary skills to operate a Challenge Dairy vehicle.
- Ability to lift products weighing from 5 to 70 pounds.
- Ability to climb in and out of delivery truck approximately 60 times a day.
- Long hours of standing and walking.
- Safe lifting procedures must be practiced at all times.
