About the position
The Route Sales Professional Express at Bimbo Bakeries USA is responsible for driving sales and ensuring product quality through effective merchandising and customer relationship management. This role involves managing a sales route, maintaining inventory, and executing promotional activities to maximize sales opportunities. Responsibilities
- Merchandising, stocking, and ensuring proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays.
- Driving sales through the acquisition of new display space and using sales data to establish store-level plans.
- Building effective customer relationships and following up on new account opportunities.
- Introducing new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space.
- Conducting daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash.
- Driving the company route truck safely and completing DOT daily logs and other documentation.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
- Must be able to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
- 1-3 years of related experience in Direct Sales Distribution (DSD) is preferred.
