About the position

The Route Sales Professional Extra at Bimbo Bakeries USA is responsible for driving sales and ensuring product availability and freshness in retail locations. This role involves merchandising, building customer relationships, and managing daily route operations while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising, stocking, and ensuring proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays.
• Driving sales through acquiring new display space and using sales data for store-level plans.
• Following up on new account opportunities and building effective customer relationships.
• Introducing new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space.
• Conducting daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash.
• Driving the company route truck safely and completing DOT daily logs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Must be able to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
• 1-3 years of related experience in Direct Sales Distribution (DSD) is preferred.
