About the position

The Route Sales Professional at Bimbo Bakeries USA is responsible for driving sales and ensuring product quality through effective merchandising and customer relationship management. This role involves managing a designated sales route, maintaining inventory, and executing promotional strategies to maximize sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Merchandise, stock, and ensure proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays.
  • Drive sales by securing new display space and setting up incremental displays.
  • Use sales data to inform store-level strategies.
  • Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships.
  • Ensure execution of promotions and introduce new products and services.
  • Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash.
  • Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs.
  • Submit required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
  • Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Perform frequent reaching and use of fingers.
  • 1-3 years of related experience in Direct Sales Distribution (DSD) is preferred.
