About the position

The Route Sales Professional at Bimbo Bakeries USA is responsible for merchandising, stocking, and maintaining product quality on store shelves. This role involves driving sales through effective customer relationships, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with company procedures while operating a company route truck.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising, stocking, and ensuring proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays.
• Driving sales through the acquisition of new display space and using sales data for store-level plans.
• Following up on new account opportunities and building effective customer relationships.
• Executing promotions and introducing new products to maximize sales and shelf space.
• Conducting daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining inventory counts.
• Driving the company route truck safely and completing DOT daily logs and other documentation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Must be able to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
• 1-3 years of related experience in DSD (Direct Sales Distribution) is preferred.
