The Route Sales Professional at No Sales Left Behind is responsible for maximizing route sales and growth by selling quality products to current and potential customers within an assigned territory in Grove City, Ohio. This role emphasizes customer service and satisfaction, ensuring that Utz products are effectively sold and promoted in the community. The position requires regular visits to customer locations, inventory assessments, and the introduction of new products to enhance sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize route sales and growth by selling products to customers in the assigned territory.
  • Regularly visit customer locations to perform sales-related activities and enhance product purchases.
  • Assess on-site product inventory and recommend sales quantities and varieties to maintain product presence.
  • Identify geographic and demographic needs to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Upsell and introduce new Utz products to current and potential customers.
  • Develop new customer accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Negotiate product prices and placement with customer personnel to maximize visibility and sales volume.
  • Observe sales trends and provide local market intelligence to the company.
  • Lift, carry, and transport products into customer locations using a hand truck after sales are consummated.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience (1 year required).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate a step van safely and competently.
  • Ability to lift and transport products for sale.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the snack food business.
  • Active sales or solicitor's license (varies by territory).
