About the position
The Route Sales Professional at Bimbo Bakeries USA is responsible for driving sales and ensuring product quality through effective merchandising and customer relationship management. This role involves managing a sales route, maintaining inventory, and executing promotional strategies to maximize sales opportunities. Responsibilities
- Merchandising, stocking, and ensuring proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays.
- Drive sales through acquiring new display space and using sales data for store-level plans.
- Follow up on new account opportunities and build effective customer relationships.
- Ensure promotions are executed and introduce new products to maximize sales.
- Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash.
- Drive the company route truck safely and complete DOT daily log and other documentation.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
- Must be able to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
- 1-3 years of related experience in Direct Sales Distribution (DSD) is preferred.
