About the position

The Route Sales Professional at Bimbo Bakeries USA is responsible for driving sales and managing product distribution on assigned routes. This role involves merchandising, stocking, and ensuring the freshness of products while building effective customer relationships. Responsibilities

• Merchandising, stocking, and ensuring proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays.
• Driving sales through the acquisition of new display space and using sales data to establish store-level plans.
• Following up on new account opportunities and building effective customer relationships while executing promotions.
• Introducing new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when soliciting new customers.
• Conducting daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts.
• Driving the company route truck safely and completing DOT daily logs and other documentation on time.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Must be able to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers.
• 1-3 years of related experience in Direct Sales Distribution (DSD) is preferred.
