About the position

The Vacation Relief Route Sales Representative at Peet's Coffee Inc. is responsible for delivering fresh coffee to grocery customers on variable routes while building and maintaining relationships with store management. This role is essential for ensuring Peet's visibility within accounts and providing vacation relief in the Kent, WA area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh coffee daily to grocery customers on variable routes.
• Build and maintain relationships with store management to increase Peet's visibility.
• Forecast and order weekly inventory.
• Merchandise store displays to ensure proper inventory, pricing, and date code rotation.
• Comply with customers' scheduled receiving hours and policies.
• Build in-store displays and manage Point-of-Sale inventory.
• Solicit new accounts fitting approved Peet's profile.
• Sell special programs to store owners and managers.
• Keep all company-supplied equipment clean and serviced, including Peet's van, warehouse, and POS.
• Complete all required reports and paperwork.
• Travel when needed.

Requirements

• Prior DSD/truck to store sales experience.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Clean DMV record and insurability.
• Ability to work independently in various settings.
• Ability to work flexible work hours depending on business needs.
