The Route Sales Representative at Alsco Uniforms is responsible for meeting customer needs through effective up-selling and cross-selling while providing superior customer service. This role involves managing route responsibilities, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining customer relationships. The representative will operate a delivery vehicle, handle customer payments, and keep accurate route paperwork. Responsibilities

• Solicit new customers and up-sell/cross-sell products and services.
• Provide outstanding customer service and manage customer needs proactively.
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Handle and process customer payments accurately.
• Ensure timely and correct deliveries of complete textile loads and pick up soiled textiles.
• Monitor and report competitive activity and keep service agreements current.
• Prepare route paperwork and follow check-in procedures.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record free of chargeable accidents or violations.
• Minimum one year of safe and successful driving experience.
• Excellent customer service and route sales skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to comprehend and follow directions, with good time management skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
