About the position

The Route Sales Representative (RSR) is responsible for managing the delivery and merchandising of coffee orders to various stores along a designated route. This role involves driving a company vehicle, ensuring product freshness, and providing excellent customer service while representing Whisha Specialty Coffee Distributors positively. The RSR will complete multiple stops daily, manage inventory, and communicate effectively with the operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Write orders in POS software.
  • Deliver and merchandise orders utilizing the FIFO method to ensure freshness and reduce spoilage.
  • Drive revenue by ensuring the appropriate levels of stock for all SKUs in the schematic.
  • Issue credits for expired product.
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Provide proof of service details in Optimoroute software for each service stop.
  • Conduct recurring inventory counts on your vehicle.
  • Communicate any relevant service details to the operations team as necessary.

Requirements

  • Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Retail and merchandising skills.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • High school diploma, GED, or military service.
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs.
