About the position

Cintas is seeking a Route Service Sales Representative to manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division. This role involves driving a truck along an established route to service and sell within an existing customer base. The position is physical and fast-paced, requiring the delivery and pickup of uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other rental items. The Route Service Sales Representative is the face of Cintas to customers, responsible for building rapport, ensuring quality standards, and proactively solving customer concerns while also growing the customer base through upselling and cross-selling.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a truck along an established route to service and sell to existing customers.
  • Deliver and pick up uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other rental items.
  • Build rapport with key decision makers and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Proactively solve customer concerns and negotiate service agreement renewals.
  • Control inventory and work in compliance with driving and vehicle regulations.
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional products and services to grow the customer base.

Requirements

  • Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
  • Must have an active driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.
  • Obtain a DOT medical certification prior to the first day of employment.
  • Provide documentation regarding previous employment.
  • High School diploma, GED, or Military Service required.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Possess a positive attitude, ambition, organization, and service spirit.
