About the position

Cintas is seeking a Route Service Sales Representative to manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division. This role involves driving a truck along an established route to service and sell within an existing customer base. The position is physical and fast-paced, requiring delivery and pickup of various rental products. The representative will build rapport with customers, ensure quality standards, and proactively address customer concerns while also focusing on upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.

Responsibilities

• Drive a truck along an established route to service and sell to existing customers.
• Deliver and pick up uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other rental products.
• Build rapport with key decision makers at customer locations.
• Ensure quality standards are met and proactively solve customer concerns.
• Grow the existing customer base by upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
• Negotiate service agreement renewals and control inventory.
• Work professionally and safely while complying with driving and vehicle regulations.

Requirements

• Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
• Must have an active driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.
• Obtain a DOT medical certification prior to the first day of employment.
• Provide documentation regarding previous employment.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• High School diploma, GED, or Military Service required.
• Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Possess a positive attitude, ambition, organization, and service spirit.
