About the position

Cintas is seeking a Route Service Sales Representative for their UltraClean service, working a 4-day workweek. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service to a designated customer base by utilizing specialized cleaning equipment and maintaining customer relationships. The representative will drive a company-owned vehicle to various customer locations, ensuring satisfaction through proactive problem-solving and service delivery. The position emphasizes teamwork, customer rapport, and the opportunity for career advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to a set customer base on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.
  • Clean customers' surfaces using customized no-touch cleaning equipment.
  • Drive a customized company-owned step van to and from numerous customer stops throughout the day.
  • Lift and carry equipment into and out of customer accounts.
  • Grow the route by selling additional products and services to current customer accounts.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to inquiries and requests and proactively solving problems.
  • Clean and maintain the equipment and interior of the vehicle.

Requirements

  • Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
  • Have an active driver's license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Obtain a DOT medical certification.
  • Provide documentation regarding previous employment.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
  • High School diploma, GED, or Military Service.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation.
  • Self-motivation and the drive to work in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude, ambition, organization, and service spirit.
