About the position
Cintas is seeking a Route Service Sales Representative for their UltraClean division, working a 4-day workweek. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service to a designated customer base by utilizing customized no-touch cleaning equipment. The representative will drive a company-owned step van to various customer locations, ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive problem-solving and relationship-building. The position also involves selling additional products and services to existing customers and maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to a set customer base on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.
- Clean customers' surfaces using customized no-touch cleaning equipment.
- Drive a customized company-owned step van to and from numerous customer stops throughout the day.
- Lift and carry equipment into and out of customer accounts.
- Grow the route by selling additional products and services to current customer accounts.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to inquiries and requests and proactively solving problems.
- Clean and maintain the equipment and interior of the vehicle.
Requirements
- Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
- Must have an active driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.
- Obtain a DOT medical certification prior to the first day of employment.
- Provide documentation regarding previous employment.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- High School diploma, GED, or Military Service.
- Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Possess a positive attitude, ambition, organization, and service spirit.
