About the position

Cintas is seeking a Route Service Sales Representative - Uniform to manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division. This role involves driving a truck along an established route to service and sell within an existing customer base, delivering and picking up uniforms and other rental items. The position is physical and fast-paced, requiring the representative to build rapport with customers, ensure quality standards, and proactively address customer concerns. The majority of representatives work a 4-day workweek with no weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a truck along an established route to service and sell to existing customers.
  • Deliver and pick up uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other rental items.
  • Build rapport with key decision makers and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Proactively solve customer concerns and issues.
  • Grow the existing customer base by upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Negotiate service agreement renewals and control inventory.
  • Work professionally, safely, and in compliance with driving and vehicle regulations.

Requirements

  • Meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
  • Have an active driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.
  • Obtain a DOT medical certification prior to the first day of employment.
  • Provide documentation regarding previous employment.
  • Possess a High School diploma, GED, or Military Service.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation.
  • Exhibit self-motivation and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, ambition, organization, and service spirit.
