About The Position

Cintas is seeking a Route Service Sales Representative to manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division. This role involves driving a truck along an established route to service an existing customer base, delivering and picking up various rental items. The position is physical and fast-paced, requiring the representative to build rapport with customers, ensure quality standards, and proactively address customer concerns. Additionally, the representative will work on upselling and cross-selling products, negotiating service agreements, and managing inventory while adhering to safety regulations.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.
• Must meet all DOT requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
• High School Diploma, GED, or Military Service is required.
• Strong customer service orientation and self-motivation.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Positive attitude, ambition, organization, and service spirit.

Responsibilities

• Drive a truck along an established route to service existing customer accounts.
• Deliver and pick up shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other rental items.
• Build rapport with key decision makers and ensure quality standards are met.
• Proactively solve customer concerns and address service issues.
• Grow the existing customer base by upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
• Negotiate service agreement renewals and manage inventory effectively.
• Comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
