The Roving Assistant Property Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Property Managers to enhance operational excellence and drive property performance. This position will be based in Tyler, TX, and Flint, TX. The Roving Assistant Property Manager will utilize strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers, assisting them in identifying their storage needs while providing real-time, cost-effective solutions. Daily responsibilities include resolving issues, answering questions, and providing general information regarding our company and policies. The role requires active engagement throughout the day, including inspecting, cleaning out, and preparing units for lease, as well as maintaining the property grounds and buildings. Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and visual appearance is a top priority.

Responsibilities

  • Support Property Managers in operational excellence and property performance.
  • Interact with customers to identify storage needs and provide solutions.
  • Resolve customer issues and answer questions regarding company policies.
  • Inspect, clean out, and prepare storage units for lease.
  • Maintain property grounds and buildings to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Perform grassroots marketing in the local area and attend community events.
  • Conduct day-to-day light maintenance and repair of the facility, including routine inspections.
  • Maintain accurate digital records of property management activities.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Mid-level experience in property maintenance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to research and understand state lien laws
  • General understanding of property maintenance needs
  • Ability to embrace new technology and adapt to industry changes.
