About The Position

Cerberus Risk Management is seeking a qualified Roving G License Security Agent to provide armed security services at a Tier 1 waterside venue in Tampa, FL. This part-time position requires working 36 hours from Thursday to Sunday, with a pay range of $17-$18 per hour. The role emphasizes military leadership structure, attention to detail, and adherence to 5-star standards. Requirements

• Valid Class 'G' Security License and Class 'D' Security Officer License.
• Completion of 28 hours of range and classroom training for initial licensure and 4 hours of annual firearms recertification training.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in law enforcement, security, or military is preferred.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and relevant laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.

• Experience in loss prevention.

• Proficiency in monitoring surveillance systems and CCTV operation.
• Skilled in de-escalating conflicts and resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security services to protect personnel, property, and assets.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, taking appropriate action.
• Enforce access control procedures and verify identities.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of all security-related activities.
