About the position

API Property Management is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Roving Leasing Agent to join our team. This role is essential for managing properties located within Los Angeles and Orange County. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and sales, with a particular emphasis on leasing. As a Roving Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for meeting potential renters, guiding them on tours of available units, and ensuring they have a positive experience throughout the leasing process. This position requires reliable transportation and the ability to work on weekends, as you will be visiting various properties to assist with leasing activities. In this role, you will be tasked with following up on leads for potential renters and preparing leasing documents in accordance with property standards and regulations. You will also handle the collection of rent payments, security deposits, and application fees, ensuring that all transactions are processed smoothly and efficiently. Keeping residents informed of any changes to rental agreements or upcoming property issues is crucial, as is building a rapport with current tenants to provide them with personalized service. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring community facilities such as mailrooms, fitness centers, and laundry rooms to ensure they are well-maintained and meet the needs of residents. Requirements

  • Experience in customer service and sales (leasing background a plus).
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work on weekends.
  • Driver's License (Required).
  • 2 years of customer service experience (Required).
