About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Roving Personal Banker (SAFE) to provide support across various branch locations within a specific geography. This role involves covering for bankers or tellers who are out of the office, ensuring exceptional customer service, and building relationships with clients. The position requires flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities while assisting customers with their banking needs and promoting appropriate products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support across a variety of branch locations where a banker or teller is out of the office.
  • Participate in delivering exceptional customer experience through proactive outreach.
  • Assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts and completing service requests.
  • Develop an understanding of bank products and services to connect with customers' needs.
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships.
  • Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and mobile banking options.
  • Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs.
  • Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners.
  • Relevant military experience including working in personnel benefits management or military recruiting.
