The RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Developer at Beacon Health System is responsible for delivering automation solutions that drive the successful adoption of automation technologies within the organization. This role involves not only building automations but also owning deliverables throughout the automation journey, ensuring that use cases and scenarios are properly constructed and documented. The RPA Developer must understand all stages of the automation journey and articulate their role in each stage, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the automation team. In this position, the RPA Developer will collaborate closely with Business Analysts to define the manual rules governing processes and translate these rules into automated commands. The developer will be responsible for scripting and coding in UiPath and other approved technologies, creating technical documentation that adheres to best practices. Rigorous automation testing, including unit testing, user acceptance testing, and bug fixes, is a critical part of the role. Additionally, the developer will conduct peer code assessments and facilitate knowledge transfer among team members. The RPA Developer is also tasked with ensuring that all automation efforts align with key organizational processes. This includes maintaining a commitment to exemplary customer service, soliciting regular input from end-user departments, and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of delivery systems to better meet customer needs. The developer will monitor progress against established departmental and organizational goals and interact effectively with BHS leaders to support important outcomes. Furthermore, the RPA Developer will engage in ongoing professional development by researching and recommending new processes and technologies to enhance service quality. They will also complete other job-related assignments and special projects as directed, ensuring compliance with organizational requirements and maintaining necessary certifications throughout the fiscal year.
