About the position

Reporting to the Supervisor, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), within the Corporate Finance department at our Headquarters in Westlake, Texas, we are seeking an RPA Developer that will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying RPA solutions. This role will play an integral part in establishing our RPA Center of Excellence (COE) and will focus on automating business processes using the UiPath ecosystem, ensuring quality and scalability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UiPath, a strong understanding of automation best practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership. Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy RPA workflows using UiPath Studio to automate complex business processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze current manual tasks and identify opportunities for automation.
  • Ensure automation solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet performance expectations.
  • Develop and test reusable components, modules, and frameworks to standardize and enhance development practices.
  • Conduct process assessments to understand requirements, define scope, and evaluate feasibility.
  • Optimize existing automated processes by improving performance, reliability, and accuracy.
  • Work closely with business analysts to refine requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure the robustness of solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug automation issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective resolutions.
  • Partner with IT, finance, and business teams to ensure smooth deployment of solutions.
  • Provide regular status updates, technical documentation, and training materials for business users.
  • Mentor colleagues through training and provide advice and guidance on best practice and development techniques.
  • Monitor RPA bots in production to ensure they function as intended.
  • Provide ongoing support and implement enhancements based on user feedback.
  • Address incidents and ensure timely resolution of any issues impacting automated processes.
  • Adhere to organizational standards, policies, and guidelines for RPA development and deployment.
  • Maintain compliance with data privacy, security protocols, and audit requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of an RPA Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Work with internal and external auditors to ensure proper controls and documentation exist for RPA projects.
  • Create and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDD) and a documentation repository.
  • Continually improve skills in automation products by proactively seeking out and participating in user groups, webinars, automation training and certifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
  • 1-2 years of UiPath and/or RPA development experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Agile Software Development Life Cycle.
  • A genuine interest and drive to learn new technology, and blend business analysis with hands-on configuration of robotic process automation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation and present technical details to a non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and willingness to adhere to formal change control procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Demonstrated development skills, preferably in .NET, VBA, or SQL.
