About the position

The Operations Manager will oversee the Retirement Plan Services (RPS) Death Claims and Money Out teams in a hybrid work environment. This role involves managing team processes, providing coaching and training, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of complex financial data. The Operations Manager will also focus on building cross-functional relationships to enhance customer experience and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage RPS Death Claims and Money Out teams, overseeing their processes and performance.
• Provide subject matter expertise, coaching, and training to team members.
• Ensure the management of complex financial data is complete and accurate.
• Establish individual and team priorities, performance goals, and objectives.
• Evaluate individual and team performance, taking action to meet performance standards.
• Design and implement training plans based on team needs.
• Serve as a resource for team members and stakeholders on complex assignments.
• Drive process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's).
• 5+ years of experience in Client Customer Support and Operations, including 2+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong relationship management skills with internal clients.
