About the position

The Operations Manager will oversee the Retirement Plan Services (RPS) Death Claims and Money Out teams in a hybrid work environment. This role involves managing team processes, providing subject matter expertise, coaching, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of complex financial data. The Operations Manager will also focus on building cross-functional relationships to enhance customer experience and drive process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage RPS Death Claims and Money Out teams, overseeing their processes and performance.
  • Establish and implement individual and team priorities, performance goals, and objectives.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members, including stretch assignments.
  • Evaluate individual and team performance, taking action to meet or exceed performance standards.
  • Serve as a resource for team members and stakeholders on complex assignments and projects.
  • Manage the processing and administration of complex data and financial transactions.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance results and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, or 4 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in Client Customer Support and Operations, including 2+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Strong relationship management skills with internal clients.
