About the position

The Operations Manager will oversee the Retirement Plan Services (RPS) Death Claims and Money Out teams in a hybrid work environment. This role involves managing team processes, providing coaching and training, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of complex financial data. The Operations Manager will also focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and driving process improvements within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage RPS Death Claims and Money Out teams, overseeing their processes and performance.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, coaching, and training to team members.
  • Evaluate individual and team performance, taking action to meet performance standards.
  • Establish and implement team priorities, performance goals, and objectives.
  • Design and implement training plans based on team needs and ensure appropriate training and cross-training of team members.
  • Serve as a resource for team members and stakeholders on complex assignments and projects.
  • Manage the processing and administration of complex data and financial transactions.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance results and streamline operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, or 4 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in Client Customer Support and Operations, including 2+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong relationship management skills with internal clients.
