The Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher position is designed for educators who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs in K-5, K-8, and 6-8 school settings for the 2024-2025 school year. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the California Content Standards across various curricular areas, including language arts, mathematics, English language development, history/social science, science, visual/performing arts, health, and physical education. Teachers will be expected to provide balanced instruction that meets the needs of all students, utilizing district-adopted instructional programs and strategies, including SDAIE strategies for English Language Learners.
