About the position

The RT, Virtual-Vent position at Lincare Inc. involves performing monthly vent check assessments for patients in a home healthcare setting. Responsibilities

• Perform remote vent checks in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete vent checks and log information following established processes.
• Communicate effectively with centers and Regional Healthcare Managers.
• Provide patient education based on individual needs and Lincare policy.
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and relevant concepts.
• Follow applicable policies and procedures regarding safety and regulatory compliance.
• Represent Lincare through professional appearance and patient care activities.
• Facilitate prescription collection.
• Maintain patient records in an organized manner in compliance with accreditation standards.

Requirements

• Familiarity with equipment and services provided in the home healthcare setting or other patient care experience.
• Completion of 1 week of field training with a center RT.
• Minimum of two years of experience in home healthcare for Level 2.
• Minimum of three years of experience in home healthcare for Level 3.
• Excellent human relations skills to interface with doctors, referral sources, and patients.
• Computer literacy.
