About the position

As an RTL Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and verification of AI chips tailored for specific model architectures. This position involves working with advanced machine learning architectures and requires a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and correctness of ASIC designs through effective design verification strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement design verification strategies for ASIC designs.
• Work closely with state-of-the-art architectures for machine learning.
• Implement blocks for efficient computation of floating point math operators.
• Provide feedback to the uArch team to ensure blocks meet timing and area constraints.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of work experience in RTL development.
• Experience with high-speed digital logic.
• Proficiency in standard RTL design and synthesis tools.
• Familiarity with verification work and writing test benches.
• Ability to learn quickly about transformers and modern artificial intelligence.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with PCIe, Ethernet, or HBM technologies.
• Familiarity with transformer models and machine learning.
• Familiarity with numerical representations and functions.
• Ability to program with Python or another scripting language.
