About the position
As a Food Runner at Swedish Hill Westlake, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for guests by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality and food service. You will be part of a new restaurant opening, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere and high standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and standards of service
- Anticipate and address guest needs and concerns
- Communicate with other staff and management regarding the needs of guests
- Complete all side work as assigned
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Support other servers and kitchen staff in duties as required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Active TABC and ServSafe certification required
- Excellent customer service and people skills required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
- Minimum of 1 year as food runner experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
- Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
