About the position

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Rust Software Developer to join a leading organization in the crypto and blockchain industry. This role is pivotal in building the world's leading developer platform for crypto applications. As a Rust Developer, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to expanding and enhancing crypto ecosystems. Your primary responsibilities will include developing microservices, infrastructure, and web3-enabled applications that are essential for the growth of our platform. In this position, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines that advance web3 technologies. You will be expected to leverage your expertise in Rust to build, test, and deploy customer-facing services and products. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for open-source software and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our users. This is a full-time hybrid position based in San Francisco, offering a competitive salary of up to £250,000 base salary, along with tokens and equity as part of the compensation package. We are looking for someone who is not only technically proficient but also enthusiastic about contributing to the future of blockchain technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices and infrastructure for crypto applications.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines that support web3 technologies.
• Build, test, and deploy customer-facing services and products using Rust and web languages.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance and expand crypto ecosystems.
• Contribute to the design of APIs for various applications.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a background in low-level systems programming and distributed systems design.
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Rust programming language.
• Experience designing APIs for software applications.
• Experience building large scalable back-end systems with high throughput.
• A foundational understanding of blockchain concepts and experience working on blockchain projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with cryptography and/or zero-knowledge concepts.
