About the position

The Technical Product Management Summer 2025 Internship at Verizon is designed for students from Rutgers University, providing an opportunity to engage in meaningful projects that contribute to business impact. Interns will work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with in-office days, and will gain exposure to various aspects of product management, including 5G technology, customer engagement, and product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects related to 5G Technology, AR/VR, and Computer Vision.
• Engage with end-users to gather feedback and drive business value.
• Participate in the product development lifecycle, including product design and testing.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog of work.
• Define KPIs and track impact metrics.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields with a completion date between December 2026 and June 2028.
• Coursework or demonstrated experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
• Ability to participate in a full-time hybrid internship from June 2, 2025, to August 8, 2025.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrated strong written and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., JIRA).
• Ability to create effective presentations.
• Familiarity with business and data analytics.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
