About the position
The position involves troubleshooting and repairing issues with a 2001 Monaco Knight Signature RV, specifically focusing on mechanical, electrical, and handyman skills. The primary goal is to resolve the engine starting issue and other related problems to ensure the RV is operational for travel.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair the engine starting issue of the RV.
- Troubleshoot and fix generator power loss problems.
- Resolve issues with the water system to ensure proper functionality.
- Assist with the installation and setup of a new ignition key set for the RV.
- Provide guidance on the proper use of the propane tank.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an RV mechanic or electrician.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work with various tools and equipment related to RV repairs.
- Knowledge of RV systems, including engines, generators, and water systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Monaco RVs or similar models.
- Familiarity with ignition systems and key replacements for RVs.
- General handyman skills for additional repairs.
