About the position

Kunes RV is seeking an experienced RV Sales Manager to lead their sales team in Fitchburg, WI. This role focuses on driving sales performance and ensuring customer satisfaction for both new and pre-owned RVs. The Sales Manager will be responsible for team leadership, sales strategy development, inventory management, customer experience enhancement, deal negotiation, training and development, marketing efforts, and financial oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, mentor, and inspire a team of enthusiastic sales professionals to hit and exceed sales targets while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies, setting clear goals for the team and driving growth across both new and used RV departments.
  • Oversee the management and presentation of RV inventory, ensuring the sales floor is always stocked and visually appealing for customers.
  • Guide customers through their RV purchasing journey, from initial inquiries to closing deals, ensuring an exceptional and stress-free experience.
  • Review and approve sales deals, ensuring all terms are favorable and fair for both the customer and the dealership.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team, keeping them up to date on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
  • Lead efforts in advertising, sales promotions, and customer outreach to attract more prospects and build the dealership's reputation.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, ensuring goals are met, and maintain an understanding of financial metrics, such as profit margins and gross sales.

Requirements

  • 2-10 years of experience in RV sales, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving sales growth.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to guide and motivate a team, navigating challenges and achieving success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales numbers, financial analysis, and market trends to drive profitability and sales performance.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every customer feels valued and confident in their RV purchase.
  • A valid state sales license and driver's license are required to drive RVs as needed and to meet industry standards.

Nice-to-haves

  • A college degree is preferred but not necessary if you have the right experience and skills.
  • RV-specific certifications or prior experience in an RV dealership environment will be a plus.
