About the position

The Technician Apprentice at Blue Compass RV is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on RV units, ensuring adherence to factory and dealership specifications. This role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer experiences while providing opportunities for personal and professional growth through training and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance work on RV units according to factory and dealership specifications.
• Provide and document complete diagnostic tests and repair or replacement services to customer units.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Repair trailers as approved by customers, warranty, or manufacturer.
• Communicate with all departments when more information is needed or when problems arise.
• Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards.

Requirements

• Some technician experience in appliance repair, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, or carpentry.
• Ability to assist service team technicians and run errands for parts or supplies.
• Commitment to providing world-class service experiences during RV unit repairs.
• Excellence in technical knowledge and expertise to maintain RV units to high standards.
• Effective communication skills to relay technical information to Service Advisors.
• Accountability in complying with manufacturer standards for quality and timeliness.
