About the position

As the RVP Field Operations, you will be responsible for developing and executing a regional growth strategy aimed at driving revenue in collaboration with sales leadership. This role involves building a strong office culture and enhancing market branding with both internal and external stakeholders. You will lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of leaders, consultants, relationship managers, and account executives to ensure the profitable acquisition, retention, and growth of business within your assigned region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional growth strategy to drive revenue in partnership with sales leadership.
  • Build an intentional office culture and define and broaden market branding with internal and external customers and brokers.
  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop leaders, consultants, relationship managers, and account executives in the profitable acquisition, retention, and growth of business in assigned region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, plus 8+ years of related work experience.
  • Formal leadership experience required.
  • Group benefits experience preferred.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain all required state licenses (i.e., Life & Health License) within 90 days; active license preferred.
  • Requires significant leadership and analytical skills as well as excellent skills in problem solving, oral and written communication.
  • Ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
  • Ability to run high stakes meetings internally and externally.
  • Must have strong time management and decision-making skills.
  • Requires ability to develop effective relationships and motivate producer behavior as well as excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
