About the position

The Chief Medical Affairs Office's Real-World Evidence (RWE) Platform at Pfizer is dedicated to establishing global scientific leadership through the generation of integrated, end-to-end observational real-world evidence. This evidence serves all therapeutic areas, from proof of concept (POC) trials to loss of exclusivity (LOE) for priority pipeline candidates, as well as pipeline supplementation through business development and marketed inline products. The RWE Platform centralizes expertise in RWE, epidemiology, outcomes research, RW-relevant health informatics, and biostatistics from both international developed markets and emerging markets into a cohesive team aimed at driving efficiency through internalized work. The RWE Platform enhances Pfizer's ability to identify unmet medical needs, supports differentiated product labels for Product Development programs, and finds alternatives and accelerated licensure pathways for new indications through the use of Real-World Data (RWD), Real World Insights (RWI), and Real-World Evidence (RWE). It informs clinical practice regarding the appropriate prescription and use of Pfizer's products, collaborates with Access & Value to strengthen the value evidence package for payers and access/policy decision-makers, and supports the measurement of both short- and long-term impacts of Pfizer's products on patients and populations, ultimately aiding in competitive differentiation. In this role as Senior Manager within the Business Operations & Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP) Success Team, the individual will provide operational expertise and project management leadership for several RWE initiatives of medium complexity across one or more categories. Success in this position hinges on excellent communication skills, industry knowledge, effective collaboration with Pfizer enterprise departments, and the ability to drive sound portfolio decision analyses and planning. The Senior Manager will support teams in delivering cost-effective, timely, and high-quality Real-World Evidence, Real World Data, and Real-World Insights throughout the product lifecycle from POC through LOE, ensuring the delivery of critical work products such as Integrated Evidence Plans (IEPs).
