About the position

The S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) Intern position at CONMED offers a unique opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Management. The intern will work closely with supply chain professionals, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of sales forecasting, demand planning, and supply chain analysis. This role is designed to provide practical exposure to the operations of a growing international medical device company, ensuring that products are accessible to healthcare customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Support S&OP demand planner with forecasting processes
• Assist in sales forecasting methodology
• Perform safety stock calculations
• Track supply and demand metrics, including back order metrics and forecast accuracy reports
• Interface with marketing for demand forecasting
• Collaborate with operations for supply planning
• Analyze historical sales data and item attributes
• Assist with the Foot & Ankle portfolio
• Help categorize product families and their impact on demand planning
• Support S&OP with international business and stocking calculations for CONMED International Distribution Centers

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field
• Availability to work onsite in Largo, Florida, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, from May 19, 2025, to August 8, 2025
