About the position

The S&P Global Research Analyst role is designed for individuals who are members of PROSPANICA and are attending the PROSPANICA career expo. This position involves collecting and interpreting data to identify trends and opportunities, conducting modeling and forecasting to support business decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop research reports. Analysts will monitor market developments and present findings to senior management and clients, contributing to informed decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct modeling and forecasting to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop research reports and presentations.
• Monitor and analyze market and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Science, Engineering, or other qualified fields.
• Strong background in research and analysis with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and knowledge of PowerBI.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Julia, SQL, and VBA.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience or knowledge in Energy, Power, Renewables, Fuels, Chemicals, Resource Solutions, Commodities, Oil, Gas (LNG or LPG), Climate Solutions, Agriculture.
