About the position

Albéa is a global leader in beauty, personal care, oral care, pharmaceutical, and food packaging. The S/R Clerk position is located in the Brownsville, Texas warehouse and is crucial for ensuring timely shipments of orders and accurate data entry into the internal SAP inventory system for shipping, receiving, and production. The role involves a variety of tasks that support the logistics and operational efficiency of the warehouse. The S/R Clerk will be responsible for creating and auditing freight bills prior to payments, generating production labels and sheets, and entering production data into the SAP system. This position requires collaboration with the purchasing department to ensure the accuracy of billing and payments, as well as preparing necessary paperwork and bills of lading for shipments. The clerk will implement logistic plans for inbound and outbound flows, monitor performance measurements, and negotiate the delivery and shipping processes. In addition to these responsibilities, the S/R Clerk will handle the receiving of cargo, verify shipments, and conduct inventory control and cycle counts. Scheduling production runs as required by customers and ensuring that skids are labeled and stacked properly before shipment are also key duties. The clerk will support the department by operating a forklift as necessary and will communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding any shipping and receiving issues. Maintaining a clean and organized shipping and receiving area is essential, along with accountability for inventory accuracy and managing controls to ensure zero discrepancies in shipments.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Strong Math and English skills
  • Moderate computer skills
  • General knowledge of material and inventory control and manufacturing operations and processes
  • Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment
  • Experience using SAP is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
