About the position

The Program Manager for Shopping Experience in eCommerce will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the online shopping experience for customers, particularly in the retail sector. This role requires a senior-level professional with extensive experience in managing large-scale eCommerce projects, focusing on improving customer engagement, loyalty rewards, and fast checkout processes. The position is hybrid, requiring local candidates to commute to the office once a quarter, and emphasizes strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote empowerment of the team and ensure meaningful contributions from each member.
• Manage risks and issues, correct deviations from plans, and perform delivery planning for assigned initiatives.
• Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations and stakeholder communications.
• Establish cadence and facilitate team ceremonies.
• Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments and removing roadblocks.
• Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for initiatives.
• Mentor and develop team members.
• Actively participate in product planning sessions and risk management processes.
• Track and report on team and project KPIs such as Velocity, Burndown, and Cycle time.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, partners, and vendors.

Requirements

• Experience as a Program Manager in eCommerce/Retail environments.
• Proven experience with shopping cart enhancement projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle models.
• Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies in enterprise-level application development.
• Experience managing large, complex initiatives with multi-function teams.
• Ability to lead software development initiatives and meet objectives.

Nice-to-haves

• CSM, SSM, or PSM certification required; SASM, CSP, SPS or other advanced certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
