About the position

Aramark’s Step Up to Leadership (S2L) Paid Internship Program is designed for motivated college underclassmen and rising seniors who are eager to gain valuable business skills and leadership experience. This program aims to provide students with essential experience, expertise, and resources to help them position themselves competitively for full-time positions after graduation. Interns in the S2L program will gain relevant work experience, mentorship from industry leaders, and professional training to help them pursue their personal and professional goals. Throughout this premier internship program, interns will have the unique opportunity to take on leadership roles within Aramark while participating in structured program activities and development exercises. The S2L program focuses on seven Career Tracks within the business, providing key milestone experiences specific to each track. Interns can expect a paid 10-12 week experience that includes career readiness training and coaching, direct engagement with peers, mentors, and managers, as well as professional network and personal brand development. The program also emphasizes structured career path conversations and learning development programs in preparation for potential full-time placement. Aramark’s S2L Program is committed to fostering communities rooted in service, inclusion, and shared prosperity, empowering all individuals to make an impact!

Responsibilities

  • Update internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms.
  • Gather payroll data like leaves, working hours, and bank accounts.
  • Screen resumes and application forms.
  • Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates.
  • Post, update, and remove job ads from job boards, career pages, and social networks.
  • Prepare HR-related reports as needed, such as training budgets by department.
  • Address employee queries about benefits, including remaining vacation days.
  • Review and distribute company policies in digital formats or hard copies.
  • Participate in organizing company events and career days.

Requirements

  • Open to those actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any field of study.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, which may include nights, weekends, or holidays according to business needs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by Aramark for this position now or in the future.
