About the position

The Web Application Developer at Western Oregon University is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise web applications. The position supports the Document Management Administrator and is integral to enhancing user experiences through effective web solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise web applications.
• Maintain and support existing web applications.
• Conduct business analysis to understand user needs.
• Design user-friendly interfaces for seamless user experiences.
• Assist the Document Management Administrator.

Requirements

• Associate degree (A.S., A.A.) or two-year technical certificate in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Two years of directly related experience in web application development.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining web applications using Javascript solutions such as Node, React, and WordPress.
• Experience in designing user-friendly interfaces.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PERL, PHP, PL/SQL, or J-Query for full-stack development.
