About the position

The Business Development Vice President (BD VP) at Robert Half is responsible for generating and expanding revenue by creating business opportunities across various practice groups and managed solutions. This role involves developing a deep understanding of client needs, overseeing the customer lifecycle, and ensuring organizational alignment to drive adoption of enterprise capabilities. The BD VP will work closely with the Client Acquisition & Expansion Vice President and the NTA team to transition new clients and host quarterly business reviews to identify opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and expand revenue by creating business opportunities for all Robert Half practice groups and managed solutions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and educate practice group points of contact to increase market share.
  • Oversee the customer lifecycle and ensure alignment to drive adoption of enterprise capabilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive account reviews quarterly to identify emerging opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Engage customers at all levels, including senior-level buyers and sponsors.
  • Execute the Client Road Map to ensure optimal growth for accounts.
  • Develop and sustain long-term customer relationships.
  • Track job orders lost to competition and meet with hiring managers at assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development with a proven track record as a top performer.
  • Internal Robert Half experience as a top performing Practice Director or Branch Director, or prior experience as a top performing account manager.
  • Proven collaboration skills and excellent negotiation and presentation skills at the C-suite level.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in developing and generating high revenue volumes for new accounts.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multitask and manage numerous large clients while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
