About the position

The SAFe Product Analyst / Lean Portfolio Analyst role is focused on supporting portfolio management processes within the Agile Project Management Office (APMO). This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment of project portfolios with strategic objectives, managing intake processes, and reporting on portfolio metrics. The role requires a strong analytical mindset and proficiency in Agile tools to facilitate effective portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Support overall portfolio management processes within the APMO
• Assist in the analysis, discovery, and reporting of project portfolios
• Collaborate with business and cross-functional teams to ensure portfolio alignment with strategic objectives
• Manage intake process, portfolio data, and portfolio workflows
• Conduct intake analysis for new efforts and initiatives
• Facilitate forums related to intake management and intake analysis with requestors, governance, and solution leads
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate problems, opportunities, business value, and alignment with strategic goals
• Develop Lean Business Cases based on intake analysis and discovery
• Assist in prioritization of efforts based on LPM frameworks
• Manage and report portfolio metrics related to intake management

Requirements

• Proficiency in product and portfolio analysis
• Experience with Agile tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) for portfolio management, metrics, dashboards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively to various stakeholders
• Knowledge and experience with agile methodologies and product management practices
• Knowledge and experience in Lean Portfolio Management (LPM)

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of SAFe Scaled Agile
• Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) certification
