About the position

The SAFe Scrum Master position at Insight Global involves providing support to the Engineering Program Management team by managing significant cross-functional technical projects. The role emphasizes servant leadership and coaching for Agile teams, facilitating team events, enforcing processes, and supporting the Agile Release Train to deliver value. The Scrum Master will educate teams on SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies, remove impediments, and foster high-performing team dynamics to ensure timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide SAFe scrum master support to the Engineering Program Management team.
• Manage significant cross-functional technical projects with large budgets and resources.
• Act as a servant leader and team coach for Agile teams.
• Facilitate team events and enforce Agile processes.
• Support teams and the Agile Release Train to deliver value.
• Educate squads on SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
• Remove impediments to foster high-performing team dynamics.
• Promote productive relationships and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of IT Software Development SAFe Agile experience.
• Technical knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience managing multiple squads.
• Project governance certification (Scaled Agile, PMP, Kanban, Scrum, etc.) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in technology, finance, business, or equivalent experience required.
